Development Plan for Lancaster

Hamiltons have been given the project of designing a huge shopping, leisure and housing development near the Kingsway site in Lancaster.

The scheme will include a four star hotel with 200 bedrooms a swimming pool and a penthouse restaurant, 250 apartments, shops and offices.

The owner of site, John Sanderson, said “expense will definitely not be a limiting factor in ensuring that only the very best will do.”

The aim is to submit a planning application for the scheme within the next nine months.
