DESCRIPTION

Flexible business space is provided within this elegantly designed two storey building.

The building is steel frame with facades clad in three materials: glass solid panels and perforated sheets. For the office component the building is clear and transparent whilst for the manufacturing element the building is more enclosed with the space primarily lit from above.

The creation of a central internal space, a top-lit triple-height circulation space that extends the length of the office provides the hub from which all programmatic elements of the building can radiate.

The east façade of the offices is wrapped in full height glazing with a series of vertical perforate louvers suspended in front of this glazed facade. These filter natural east light and eradicate problems of glare.

The extended skin responds to the current use of floor space and can be altered as necessary – as can the mezzanine floor structure within the building. The scheme makes a strong corporate statement at an economical cost.
