Simon Peckham

After graduating from The Bartlett School of Architecture in 1994 Simon designed a doctor’s surgery in Peterborough as a private commission. In 1995 he joined Foster and Partners and worked on a mixed-use development for the King Faisal Foundation in Riyadh and on a competition winning entry for a 2km long cable-stay bridge in Millau. He worked for 2 years on the RIBA regional award winning Electronic Arts HQ in Chertsey and was responsible for the cladding that included a cable-tensioned glass wall which won the ‘Concours des Plus Beaux Ouvrages de Construction Metallique‘ award in 2002. He has been the project architect for the Tower Place development in the City of London and for an office building near Broadgate. As an associate he also worked on the Imperial College Faculty Building, Her Majesty’s Treasury redevelopment, Electronic Arts – Phase 2, Stornoway House, Selfridges, Project Lateral and a Swiss Chalet.

Since joining Hamiltons Architects in May 2004 He has worked on Bowater House, Aerospace Megastore, Headingley Cricket Stand, Solstice Park, private houses in Ham and in Devon. He is currently working on an office in Mayfair and two hotels: Dakota Farnborough and Shepherds Bush Pavilion.
