Laurence studied at De Montfort University, graduating with first class honours before studying his post graduate diploma at Edinburgh University.
He joined Jestico & Whiles in 1998 working on a range of hotel, cinema and office developments before moving to Sydney, Australia to work on a number of high profile interior projects, including listed warehouse conversions.
Laurence joined the London office of Carey Jones Architects on his return to the UK and became an Associate in 2001. He was responsible for a wide range of urban planning, mixed use and residential schemes including Riverside Quarter at Wandsworth, Arbury Camp in Cambridge and a 160 apartment scheme at Hampton Court.
Since joining Hamiltons in 2004, he has completed Montrose Place, Belgravia, a £31m development of 18 luxury apartments and 8 affordable apartments for Grosvenor Developments. Also on Montrose Place, Laurence has overseen the design and construction of another luxury residential development of 11 apartments for McCabe. He has produced a masterplan for a development of 575 dwellings in Manchester. Laurence is currently working on a variety of mixed use and masterplanning projects and is involved in Stage D/E of Indescon Court Phase 2 which is a high density mixed use development containing a 108 room hotel and 550 apartments, in Isle of Dogs, London
Laurence was promoted to Associate in 2005.
