Profile

John studied at Cheltenham School of Art and Technology then moving to London where he began his career in Computer generated design and production. Working mainly in the retail sector, his role was to develop a working methodology, combining the emerging new technologies, with traditional ‘Design and Development’ workflows. His desire to explore a more technologically integrated and coordinated workflow eventually saw him progress into System Management and Software support.

John then set up his own consultancy, providing 3D Modelling and Visualisation plus Strategic Cad/System development for a number of high profile clients such as Morgan Stanley, Gensler and Harrods.

In 1994 he joined Foster + Partners as an Associate, focusing on 3D development and Training for the practice. In 1997, he was promoted to Associate Partner, working on a number of large-scale projects in UK, USA and China.

John joined Hamiltons in 2006, where the focus of his role is to implement advanced modelling techniques, creating a typical project workflow, providing development, visualisation and production information from a single model environment.

John was promoted to Associate in 2008.
