Profile

John studied at the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa achieving a Bachelor of Building Art and a Bachelor of Architecture and a later registration with the South African Institute and Council of Architects. He joined Smale and Partners Architects South Africa in 1994 where he worked as Project Architect on a number of commercial, medical, military, housing and government schemes in rural South Africa.

In 1997 he moved to Stefan Antoni Architects in Cape Town to work in the high class housing sector. Before immigrating to the United Kingdom he also spent a year working as a 3D visualisation consultant in Melbourne, Australia.

John joined Hamiltons in 1998 working as a 3d visualisation Architect. John then became fully responsible for the management of CAD systems for the practice with promotion to System Architect in 2007. He is responsible for the development and implementation of architectural and business management solutions for the practice.

John was promoted to Associate in 2007.
