Paul Birch thrives on the pure commercial challenge of the business, “creating true architecture within tight budgets, not just buildings” he says; “creating something that’s much more than just a purely commercial venture.” He finds the Hamiltons approach to project management very invigorating – “it’s very dynamic and agile, giving me the space to work out better ways of doing things.”
After graduating from the Architectural Association, Paul worked at several practices including GMW Partnership and Covell Matthews Wheatley, before joining Hamiltons in 1988. His recent projects include 40 Berkeley Square, Bow Churchyard in the City of London, the UK headquarter campuses for Perpetual, and the award winning Fulham Broadway mixed retail and leisure development which integrated a new London Underground station. Paul is currently working on a number of mixed use schemes in London and Birmingham.
