Jason studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture at London University and at the Royal College of Art. During his studies he worked for Conran Roche Ltd and Armstrong Associates. He joined Foster + Partners in 1991 to work on London`s third Airport at Stansted, the Euro Terminus at King`s Cross Station, Cambridge University Law Library, Headquarters for Arag in Dusseldorf, Timex in Connecticut, Bowring and the Daily Mirror in London.
In 1995 Jason became the Associate for a 3000 seat Conference Centre at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow. In 1997 he became the Project Director responsible for all project design and co-ordination for the Sage in Gateshead, a music centre comprising two performance spaces, a rehearsal hall and a music school.
During this period he was involved in several other performing arts projects including the winning competition submissions for the Dallas Opera House and the Masterplanning of the Arts District and the conversion of the Avery Fisher Concert Hall at the Lincoln Centre in New York. He was made a Partner of the Practice in 2004. Jason left Foster + Partners to join Hamiltons Architects in 2005.
