Tim Hamilton started the practice after studying architecture at Melbourne University in Australia. He describes Hamiltons as “a bunch of highly talented individuals glued together by mutual respect”. Although he’s the Chairman, he shares the running of the practice with his fellow directors, fulfilling his ambition from the outset to foster an entrepreneurial atmosphere that would allow natural talent to bubble up to the surface.

Prior to starting the practice, Tim was involved in various prefabricated construction initiatives and remains convinced that the construction industry must become more fully integrated.

In aiming at a reasonably balanced life, Tim enjoys spending his ‘spare’ time sailing, gardening and reading
as well as soaking up the atmosphere in Italy.
