Craig Casci believes that magic can be found in the most surprising places. Ordinary places, difficult places, impossible places, is where the real challenges are found and that is where he creates extraordinary buildings. “I’ll go into the back end of anywhere and make it a better place to live’’ he says. His whole approach to the business of architecture is focused round problem solving and pragmatism. “Good design is about really understanding the problems that need to be solved – get that right and everyone is happy’’.

After graduating at Edinburgh University and AA London Craig worked on major City of London developments before living and working in Australia and the Far East. Having worked for Farrell and Partners, SBT and Keppies Henderson, his portfolio includes major Masterplans and Urban Developments. The much acclaimed Brewery Square is being followed by major settlements in Harrow and the Millennium Quarter in the Isle of Dogs, as well as major masterplans in British cities including a 680 acre new town development.
