“Quality thinking can go into anything, even the most humble dwelling.” In that single remark John illustrates perfectly the ubiquity of Hamiltons approach. “Use all the qualities you apply to iconic, flagship buildings and apply them everywhere – the things we do should be capable of delivering excitement and joy to people.” John’s enthusiasm for the unique cocktail of talent at Hamiltons is palpable, “individually our experience is very eclectic” he says, “but this makes for much stronger creative interaction between us.”

Before joining Hamiltons, John spent 20 years working with Foster and Partners. As a Project Director and then Director
he was responsible for delivering a very wide range of projects including the new Stansted Airport terminal, the Commerzbank HQ in Frankfurt, Electronic Arts HQ in Chertsey, the Cambridge University Law Library, and Tower Place office development in London, amongst others.
